Den Mother

This city is a concrete trap of violence and apathy, where everyday people slip through the cracks never to be heard from again. When the horrors begin to hit a tipping point something strange stirs in the city, starting a chain of events that forever change the lives of three people. 

A woman who lost everything to the senseless crimes of the city, now a predator. Fighting against her own self destruction to carve some semblance of safety into the world around her. Another a street kid, caught up in crimes far out his depth. He will need to bet double or nothing with his life to change the fate of the shelter he protects. And finally an aid to the Mayor, all tied up in secrets. Her commitment to the truth will shed a light on the city and expose corruption at the highest levels. 

The fog is always thick and the money is always short, desperation is sought out and taken advantage of. But this city is not without heroes, even if they don't realize it yet.
